The Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre

The CIO Forum will serve as an addition to TENET’s governance structure and will be composed of CIOs and senior IT executives from public universities and research and education related entities that currently qualify to receive TENET’s services.

• The CIO Forum will be held on the 7th - 8th October 2026, at The Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre
• (TBA) There will be a sponsored CIO supper on the 7th October 2026.
• The CIO Forum will start at 12h00 on the 7th October with a lunch and end on the 8th October at 12h00.

To be done by the Delegate & Institution:

Travel Arrangements: TENET will only cover reasonable flight expenses and accommodation that an institution's travel policy would usually cover. Your institution will need to pay for the travel expense and claim back from TENET.

TENET will sponsor a 1 night stay at The Birchwood Hotel on the 7th October 2026. Any other accommodation booked above that one night will be an institutional expense.

Please do not book travel until you have received confirmation from TENET that your registration to attend has been approved.
