 not at the main Stellenbosch campus.\nProgramme Overview\nCybersecurity ha
 s been identified as one of the highest shared risks facing the higher edu
 cation and research sector\, with TENET’s Board reaffirming its commitme
 nt to developing shared platforms and prioritising this work in 2026. \nE
 stablishing a sector-wide CSIRT cannot be done in isolation. SANReN and TE
 NET are already delivering critical elements of cybersecurity capability a
 nd will remain integral to any sustainable solution. \nThis session of th
 e CIO Forum is intended to create a space for collective discussion within
  the Higher Education community. It will provide an opportunity for CIOs t
 o contribute to a practical and collaborative approach to a shared CSIRT t
 hat reflects real operational needs and shared accountability across the s
